Let us give you brief tips to create a solid basic wardrobe. Get inspired by what casual outfits we’re currently coveting and follow on your own risk to procreate your own.

#1– Graphic Tee
Get the one with a message you believe in. If it follows your philosophy, you’ll rock it with utmost confidence. But there is one rule to go by specifically with music band tees - only get those featuring the idols you fancy and musicians whose music you KNOW.

#2 – Plaid Shirt
One of our favorite basic staples is a mutli-color plaid shirt.  Wanna know why? It’s wearable all year round (looking the best in colder months), versatile, comfortable, inexpensive.  Styled here with leather pants, but is equally awesome with a leather skirt, tailored slacks or anything denim.

#3 – Chunky Turtleneck
Crisp days in our climate are aplenty, thus chunky knit turtlenecks are on heavy rotation for about 6 months of the year. Put it on and go just about anywhere. The one here by Noli Litan with exaggerated rib trim at the neck and sleeves has a special place in Martina’s heart  (most likely because we scored it in the beloved Hamptons :) but also because it's just super comfy. So, go get a good one and wear it for ages.

#4 – Hero Blazer
If you don't already own a well-fitting blazer, it should be the first thing you buy come spring. In its essence, it is perceived as slightly formal, but paired with a tee, jeans, or leather pants, you can downplay its conservatism. It will organically add certain sharpness to any outfit, transforming the look from sporty to elegant and sophisticated.

#5– Leather Pants
Regardless of what you wear them with (although we're not so sure about double leather), they always look super chic, edgy, and a li'l bad-ass rock’n’roll. Choose the preferred cut for your body type - the skinny biker, loose boyfriend cut, or the super trendy high waist “paper bag” style, pair with a tee, romantic blouse, turtleneck, or plaid shirt, and you're all set for many mornings to come.
